Professor of Targeted Therapy and Oncology

 

Tim Illidge is Professor of Targeted Therapy and Oncology and works as a clinicain scientist. He has been group leader of the CRUK targeted therapy group for 25 years and works as a clinical oncologist at The Christie Hospital with a focus on lymphoma and has led practice changing clinical trials. His research interests are in understanding the immunomodulatory effects of radiotherapy and enhancing responses to radiotherapy by combining with immunomodulatory agents. He is a senior NIHR investigator and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
