ACED Summer School
Taking the Testing to the People
We invite you to Manchester to join us for the Third Annual ACED Summer School, where we will delve into the topics of early detection science in a COVID-19 impacted world pandemic.
Held in Manchester between the 9th-13th August 2021, we are putting together an exciting scientific programme entitled:
“Taking Testing to the People: Reimagining screening in a post COVID Era”
Set in the landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic, our sessions aim to cover topics including: regulatory oversight; risk stratification; testing, developing and deploying inclusive screening strategies; digital/data health strategies; and population and institutional barriers in early detection science.
For the first time, we are offering attendees two methods to engage with the ACED Summer School: an in-person event held on the campus of the University of Manchester and a virtual experience, both providing attendees with the same scientific programme and interactive sessions. More information on what these two ways to attend include will be available when registration opens later in 2021.*
The 2021 ACED Summer School will build upon the topics developed in the previous Summer Schools, held at the University of Cambridge in 2019 and Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in 2020, and we invite anyone interested in early detection science to attend. Whether you are a PhD student, a clinician, or a senior academic, there is sure to be something new to take away from the 2021 ACED Summer School.
Additional information on the Summer School including the programme, confirmed speakers, and the interactive sessions will be provided later in 2020.
Registration is due to open in early 2021.
